Scope of services
Straitside Marine may be appointed for the full port call or for a single item of attendance. All services are quoted in advance and accounted for on completion.
Port clearance
Arrival and departure formalities, immigration and port health declarations for the duration of the call.
BNKBunker call attendance
Attendance throughout bunkering operations. Delivery notes, sample receipts and operational timings are reported to the principal.
CRWCrew change
Sign-on and sign-off administered in full: immigration applications, launch transfers, land transport, accommodation and air travel.
SPR / STRSpares & stores
Ship spares, provisions and technical stores received, cleared and delivered on board against the vessel's signature.
SUPSuperintendent & surveyor attendance
Boarding arrangements for superintendents, class and cargo surveyors, and service technicians.
PROT AGYProtecting agency
Attendance on the owner's behalf where the charterer has nominated the agent, including an independent statement of facts and review of the account rendered.
CTMCash to master
Cash delivered on board against the master's signed receipt, at a commission stated in the proforma.

Collection by licensed contractors, arranged and attended, with disposal receipts provided for the vessel's record books.

Import, export and transhipment documentation for ship spares, stores and project cargo.

Who we are
Straitside Marine Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-incorporated ship agency appointed by owners, managers and operators to represent their interests at the Port of Singapore.
We attend bulk carriers, oil and chemical tankers, container vessels, gas carriers, general cargo tonnage and offshore support vessels. Our activity is concentrated at the eastern anchorages, where vessels call for bunkers, crew and technical attendance rather than cargo operations.
The company is also appointed as protecting agent. Where the charterer has nominated the port agent, Straitside Marine attends on behalf of the owner and reviews the account rendered.

Our undertaking
Straitside Marine attends in person. A representative meets the crew, boards the vessel and signs for what is delivered. Principals are notified of any deviation from the agreed programme as it arises.
Our coverage
The eastern anchorages, the container and bulk terminals, the shipyards, and the piers serving them. Suppliers, harbour craft and licensed contractors are engaged on the principal's account at cost.

Accuracy
Declarations filed correctly at first submission. Every figure traceable to a published tariff or a supplier invoice.
Availability
The operations desk is attended around the clock, including weekends and public holidays.
Transparency
Agency fees and third party costs are presented separately in both the proforma and the final account. Statutory dues and third party charges are passed at exact cost, with vouchers attached.
Independence
Appointed by the principal and answerable to the principal, including in the review of accounts rendered by others.
Our network
Supplier network, consolidated on one account
Harbour craft, land transport, chandlery, customs clearance, licensed waste collection and accommodation are arranged through suppliers with whom rates are held. All such costs are billed to the principal at cost, with the supplier invoice attached to the final account.

Straitside Marine transacts on the national platforms through which vessel and cargo formalities at the Port of Singapore are lodged. Declarations are submitted by us and the reference is available to the principal on request.

Both platforms produce an auditable reference against every submission. Where a filing supports a line in the disbursement account, that reference is quoted against the line and the supporting document is attached to the final account.
